Erika Magallanes

August 23, 1978 — February 23, 2022

Erika Magallanes, 43, of San Angelo went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, in San Angelo. Erika was born August 23, 1978, in El Paso, Texas. She grew up in the West Texas area and graduated from Big Spring High School. After high school, she worked at various retail stores until working in the transportation industry for 10 years. She then decided to start a family and become a homemaker. Erika married the love of her life Ramon Magallanes on January 9, 2016, in Midland, Texas. Erika and Ramon would soon move to San Angelo to make their home and raise their son Nazaret. She was a loving wife and mother who devoted her life to her family and her Lord. She was an active member of Lifepoint Baptist Church, and she dearly loved her church family. In her spare time, she loved doing arts and crafts and decorating for parties for social events. Erika also loved to read her bible and books on reformed theology. She loved people and was a very social person. Erika never met a stranger and enjoyed visiting and hanging out with friends and family. She could light up a room wherever she went, and everyone loved her incredible spirit of love and her ability to help in any situation. Including her selfless way of reaching out to those less fortunate. Erika’s passion for the Lord and people and love for family will remain in our hearts forever and we will dearly miss her! Erika was preceded in death by her daughter Galilea Selah Magallanes. She is survived by her husband Ramon Magallanes, of San Angelo; her son Nazaret Magallanes, of San Angelo; her father, Ruben Lozano, of Chicago, Il; her grandmother, Cayetana Lozano Lomeli, of El Paso, TX; her sister, Perla Williams and her husband Darrell, of Fort Worth, TX; her special uncle, Martin Lozano and his wife Rachel, of El Paso, TX; her special aunts, Sylvia Lozano, of El Paso and Teresa Lozano Guzman and her husband Valente, of El Paso, TX; and numerous other family members and her cherished Lifepoint church family.
