Mario Duane Alvarez

Mario Duane Alvarez, born on March 4, 1958 went to be with our Lord on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at the age of 66 surrounded by his family. He was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed. He enjoyed fishing, cheering on his favorite team the Redskins ( as he continued to call them ) and continued to be a die hard fan of #3 Dale Earnhardt Sr. and riding his 3 wheel bike.

Mario is the son of Fred G. Alvarez and Ildifonza M. Alvarez. He is survived by 2 brothers, Fred J. Alvarez and Albert D. Alvarez and sister Diedra L. Seale all from San Angelo, TX. Mario was the father to Marcus Fuentes and Anthony Fuentes. He was preceded in death by his son Joey Fuentes.

He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 5 nephews, 3 nieces and 2 great nephews. Graveside burial will be at the Latin American Cemetery in Ballinger, TX on July 20, 2024 at 10:00 am.
