Adam William Bartkoski, age 23, of the United States Air Force, passed away on August 17, 2025. He was born on March 5, 2002, in Springfield, Missouri, to his loving mother, the late Deborah Dipple.
Adam grew up surrounded by family and friends who knew him as protective, kind, and deeply dependable. After graduating from Irion County High School in Mertzon, Texas, in 2020, Adam went on to proudly serve his country, joining the Air Force in December 2023. His commitment to service reflected his selfless and loyal nature.
Beyond his service, Adam was a devoted brother and uncle. He is survived by his siblings, Steven Muir, Robert Muir, Zack Heckman, Krystal Dipple, and Amy James. To his nieces and nephews—Cooper Muir, Rhyon Muir, Liam Muir, Sebastian Heckman, Colton Muir, Annabelle Muir, Clair Muir, Hadleigh Heckman, and Caroline Muir—he was not only family but also a true friend. He spent countless hours playing video games with them and sharing conversations that will be treasured forever.
Adam will be remembered for his reliability, his sense of humor, and the love he showed to those around him. His life was far too short, yet he was set on a new path—growing, taking on responsibility, and stepping into the man he was becoming. Though he left this life too early, his memory will forever remain with those who loved him.
A burial service, open to all who knew and cared for Adam, will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Following the burial, a dinner and evening of remembrance will take place at the Community Center at 4:00 p.m.
