Bonnie Jean Arthur

Bonnie Arthur was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world suddenly on September 17, 2021. She was born to Walter and Gladys Bluemel on February 1, 1943. She met the love of her life, Jerry Arthur, while attending Christoval High School, and they were married for 60 years. Together they had two children: Todd and Toni. She was the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren: Chad, Colby, Jonathan, Courtney, Caty, Cody, Brandi, Britani and Becca. She also leaves behind her loyal companion, Missy Rue. Bonnie lived in Christoval for her entire adult life and so leaves behind her much loved Christoval family. She was a skilled hair dresser in her early years and later retired from Tom Green County, after serving as a clerk for the Justice of the Peace Office. At home, she enjoyed collecting anything with a frog on it, knitting, quilting, playing cards and bunko. Visitation will be at Harper Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Christoval Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Knickerbocker Community Cemetery.
