It is with deep sorrow and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Bounbek Ray Phongsavanhthong who departed this life on June 2, 2025, just shy of his 72nd birthday. He was born on June 16, 1953, and throughout his long and fruitful life he was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and a man of quiet strength and unwavering kindness.

Bounbek Ray is survived by his beloved wife: Touy he also leaves behind his three cherished daughters – Maggie, Dawn, and Linda with their spouses David, Steven, and Xang as well as his six grandkids – Danny, Justin, Sean, Brandon, Cameron, Ava and one great granddaughter Olivia.

All of whom carry forward his legacy of love, resilience, and family devotion.

A man of deep values, Bounbek Ray’s life was defined by humility, dedication to his loved ones, and a gentle wisdom that touched all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts and lives of those he held dear and the countless moments of joy, laughter, and wisdom he shared.

A family service will be held in his honor on June 7, 2025, at 01:00pm at Harper Funeral Home 2606 Southland Blvd San Angelo TX 76904. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support they have received during this time and invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Bounbek Ray’s wonderful life.
