Bryce "Drew" Thieman

Bryce “Drew” Thieman of San Angelo passed away at the age of 28 on January 30, 2019. She was born on January 28, 1991, to parents Bryce Stone Thieman and Mark Havins Thieman. Drew loved music, art, cooking, reading, TexMex food, and being at the Ranch. She also dearly loved her family, incredible friends, and Great Pyrenees “Moose.” She graduated from Central High School in San Angelo in 2009. Drew learned at a young age to play violin and had fond memories of her summers as a camper and a counselor at Camp Longhorn in Burnet, Texas. She was in the Orchestra and Varsity Orchestra and on the Varsity Swim Team during her four years at Central High School. Following high school, Drew attended Texas Christian University for her freshman year, and then transferred to Texas Tech University for her last years of college. Following her college years, she worked for the real estate group, Marcus & Millichap in Fort Worth, and then pursued graduate work in psychology studies. Drew is survived by her parents Bryce and Mark Thieman of San Angelo; brother Joe and his wife Casey Thieman of San Angelo, sister Ashley and her husband Travis Phillips of Austin, niece and nephews Lily and Landon Phillips of Austin and Parker Thieman of San Angelo; aunts and uncles Bitsy and Hugh Lamar Stone III, Pat and David Becker, Sally and Joel Paul Shirley, and Tarayla and Ted Panchalk; her beloved dog Moose; and numerous cousins and friends throughout the State of Texas. Drew was preceded in death by her grandparents Jean Stone Britt, Bill Britt, Hugh Lamar Stone Jr., and Joyce and Lorin Thieman and great grandparents Velma Jones and Bryce McCandless, Lucile March and Hugh Lamar Stone, Addie Mae and Patrick Henry Havins, and Tillie and Leonard H. Thieman. A celebration of Drew’s life will take place on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 11:00 am at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 3 S Randolph Street, in San Angelo, Texas, with a reception to follow at the home of Bryce and Mark Thieman.
