In Loving Memory of Carlos Humberto Domani

April 28, 1942 – July 28, 2025

With heavy hearts and profound love, we announce the passing of Carlos Humberto Domani, age 83, of San Angelo, Texas. Surrounded by family and love, Carlos was called home to be with the Lord on July 28, 2025.

Carlos was born on April 28, 1942, in Progreso, Yucatán, Mexico, to Jose Cannan and Maria Candelaria Silva Domani. From humble beginnings, he grew up in Mexico, where his values of faith, family, and hard work were first rooted. At just 17 years old, with courage and determination beyond his years, Carlos immigrated to the United States in search of a better life — a journey that would ultimately shape the legacy he leaves behind.

In time, he met the love of his life, Guadalupe E. De Hoyos, and together they built a beautiful life grounded in love, commitment, and faith. Their marriage of 60 remarkable years was a testament to enduring devotion, and through every joy and challenge, they remained hand in hand. Carlos was a devoted husband, a proud father, a tender grandfather, and a loyal friend. He lived for his family, always putting their needs above his own. Known for his unwavering work ethic, Carlos spent the majority of his life in the transportation industry as a truck driver. He took pride in providing for his loved ones and carried himself with quiet strength and humility.

He had a warm smile, a kind spirit, and a heart that welcomed everyone. Whether through his stories, his laughter, or the simple acts of love he showed daily, Carlos left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Carlos was preceded in death by his beloved parents, two sisters, and three brothers. He is survived by his cherished wife, Guadalupe E. Domani of San Angelo; his beloved children: Carlos Domani and wife Maritza of Chicago, IL; Denyse Domani of San Angelo; Jorge Domani and wife Dora Nelly of San Antonio; Diana Domani of San Antonio; and Desirée Juarez and husband Efrain of San Angelo. He was the proud grandfather of 17 grandchildren: Abraham Domani, Samuel A. Domani, Anneli Domani, Diego Elizondo, Doreli Domani, Alex Domani, Natalia Domani, Joel Domani, Adrian Rosales, Angel Rosales, Samuel I. Rosales, Ambar Rosales, Caleb Rosales, Alan Juarez, Jose Gonzalez, Debora Gonzalez, and Daniel Gonzalez; and was blessed to welcome four great-grandchildren into his heart.

Carlos is also survived by his brother Jorge Domani Silva of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends who will forever treasure his memory.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Harper Funeral Home. A celebration of Carlos’s life and legacy will take place at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 2, 2025, also at Harper Funeral Home.

Though our hearts ache, we find comfort in knowing that Carlos now rests peacefully in the arms of the Lord — his journey complete, his love eternal. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and his legacy will continue to shine through all those who knew and loved him.
