Carol Ann (Pruski) Jones

Carol Ann (Pruski) Jones, 79, of Miles, Tx joined her heavenly father on Tuesday August 5, 2025. Carol was born August 29, 1945 in Monroe, La to Thomas and Minnie (Mutz) Pruski.

Carol’s passion was teaching. She taught school and worked in various capacities within the school districts, in both California and Texas. She also worked for a time at Texas Instruments. Carol married Andrew J. Jones Jr. and settled on the farm in Miles, Tx. She loved her animals, horses and especially her schnauzers.

Carol is survived by siblings Betty (John) Osweiler of Lancaster Pa; Frank (Ella) Pruski of Ennis Tx; Martha (Johnny-deceased) Jones of Crowley Tx; Cecilia (Brian) Cooper of Baton Rouge La; Lucy (David) Standard of Tuscola, Tx; Thomas ( Janine) Pruski of Robstown, Tx; Mary (David) Patton of McKinney Tx; step daughter Cheryl West of Graham Tx, numerous nieces/nephews & great nieces/nephews.

Carol is preceded in death by her husband A.J. Jones Jr, parents Thomas and Minnie Pruski and infant sister Anne Marie Pruski.

A very special thank you to Cheryl West and Carolyn Hutson for their devotion and care dedicated to Carol as she bravely battled cancer.

An open viewing will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 10:00 am to 7:00pm at Harper Funeral Home. Visitation and Mass will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 10:30am and 11:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Mereta, TX 18370 Bledsoe Rd. Interment to follow at Eola-Mereta Cemetery, County Rd 1640 and FM 381, Paint Rock, TX 76866.
