Mrs. Christine Weedon of San Angelo, Texas, passed away surrounded by love on September 29, 2026. Born August 12, 1942, in Sumter, South Carolina, she lived an extraordinary life alongside her late husband, Lt. Colonel Charles H. Weedon.
A proud military officer's wife, Christine was a talented hairstylist and entrepreneur who owned the Hair Palace in San Angelo. She was a devoted member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, a member of Le Coterie Society, and an active community volunteer. In recognition of her lifelong dedication to others, she was awarded Citizen of the Year by Le Coterie Society and Woman of the Year by the Holy Women of Excellence Alpha Team.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles.
She is survived by her son, Gregory Rogers; daughters, Yvette Duncan and Sonya Jeffery; grandchildren, Christopher Weedon, Joshua Lacy, Ariana Aguilar, Ashley Jeffery, and Krislyn Jeffery;
great-grandchildren, Nathan Weedon and Khiya Jeffery; and siblings, Bernice Chadwick, Henry Dinkins, Earnestine Dinkins, Loretta Ford, Rosemarie Sharpe, Richard Sharpe, and Deborah Sharpe, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Harper Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will take place at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
Flowers may be sent to Harper Funeral Home prior to the visitation.
