David Lynn Cline

March 27, 1959 — July 7, 2020

David Lynn Cline, "Paw Paw", age 61 passed away on July 7, 2020 in San Angelo, Texas. David was born in Brownfield, Texas to James Cline (deceased) and Mary Stophel (deceased) on March 27, 1959. He grew up in the Lubbock area and moved to San Angelo in the early 80s with his then wife Brenda Cline. David was a painter all his life and took pride in his work. He would go around town and show off his work to his children as he passed the houses he had so proudly worked on. He was recently with Padilla Painting and he cherished his work family and friends. Even when he was having a hard day, health wise, he always showed up, never complained, did the best job possible and was a very reliable worker and friend. He was known by many and loved by all. He had a shy smile that was a blessing and a beautiful sight to see. He was a wonderful father, Paw Paw, brother, uncle, friend, coworker and a beautiful person with such a big heart. He was shy at first but once he opened up he was a friend for life. After his wife Brenda passed he was a constant for their two children and his grandbabies. Whatever they needed he was there with a helping hand and an ear to listen. Before becoming a widower he had a son, Tim Cline and one daughter, Chelsea Cline with his wife Brenda Cline. Together his son Tim and his daughter-in-law, Hope Cline gave him three beautiful grandchildren, his only granddaughter, Delylah and two grandsons, Nicholas and Logan Cline. His daughter Chelsea and son-in-law Justin Saldivar then blessed David with three more grandsons Jordan, Baby Justin and Noah. He then married his friend of 14 years Martha Fleming. With this came her daughters, his step daughters, Jessica Fleming, Misti Hanni and grandchildren Alura Molina Fleming, Jadelynn Pettry, Diane Cruz and Jeremiah Davidson (deceased) Chelsea Beasley, Jennifer Beasley and two beautiful grandkids Brycen Pettry and Ariella Sanchez. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, not only his two children, step kids, wife and grandchildren but also brother Tommy Cline and wife Denise of Beaverton, OR, Sister Sue Cline Bartsch and Husband Dave McKinley of Conroe, TX. Brother John Cline and wife Aida of Spring, TX and Sister Stacy Cline Davis of Denison,TX and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and coworkers. He will be greatly missed and this loss will be felt for years to come because it is such a great loss to the many lives he touched. We would like to thank the staff of Shannon Hospital, Dr. Rudy Haddad and Dr. Taylor for the excellent care and attention they showed David, especially during this hectic time in our country. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, July 10th at Harper Funeral Home, from 8am- 8pm. The Graveside service will be held 10am, Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
