David Ray Chaffin

David Ray Chaffin, 50, of San Angelo passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022 at home having suffered with diabetes for most of his adult life.

No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Harper Funeral Home.

David was born on June 2, 1971 in Clovis, New Mexico to Gary and Gwen Gerber Chaffin. Being an Air Force “brat”, he traveled with the family to various duty stations in New Mexico, California, Montana, Arkansas, Germany, Colorado and finally, Texas. David adjusted well to his changing environments and made new friends easily. He attended Central High School in San Angelo and worked in the food industry in several cities within Texas. He was a pet lover and enjoyed fishing, golfing and playing his guitar.

He is survived by his parents and older brother Michael of San Angelo. David will be greatly missed.
