Debra Sanchez Rubio

Debra “Tita” Sanchez Rubio, age 56, peacefully entered into eternal life on July 24, 2023 in Stephenville, Tx. Debra was born in Monahans, Texas to Jesus and Rosa Rubio on December 28, 1966. She attended school in Monahans and later moved to San Angelo where she raised her three daughters while working at San Jacinto Elementary.

Debra is proceded in death by her parents Jesus and Rosa Rubio, her step-mother Socorro “Nena”Rubio, her brothers José Manuel Rubio and Jesus Rubio Jr.

Debra’s love language was giving to others. She was known for her baking and her kind heart. She opened her home and heart to anyone in need. Tita would give you her last dollar and the shirt off her back if you needed it. Tita was great at crafting. Every craft that she made was special and very personal for the recipients of the gift.

Survivors include her three daughters: Stephanie Perez and Santiago Perez, Anastacia “Ana” and husband David Morales, and Bridget Guevara. Debra had eight grandchildren: Alyssa Lopez and Jorge Garcia, Andrea Lopez, Marcelena Perez, Arianna Perez, Jeremy Guevara, Aubriana Morales, McKenzie Guevara, and Mya Morales, and one great-grandchild, Jocelyn Garcia. She is also survived by her siblings Diana “Nana” and husband Domingo Gonzales, Doris, Delma, Juan, and Maria. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Visitation and Rosary will be held on July 27,2023, at 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Harper Funeral Home.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 11:30 am at St. Joseph's catholic church in San Angelo Tx.
