Deidre Price
McCoy

Emmanuel Episcopal Church
11:00 am - 12:00 pm (Central time)
Deidre Price McCoy left earthly cares on April 27, 2026, twenty days after her fifty-fifth birthday. She was born in Houston, Texas, on April 7, 1971, the beloved daughter of Jack and Mary Dee Price.
Deidre spent her early years in San Angelo and Amarillo, where she attended primary school. She later relocated with her family to Billings, Montana, graduating from Skyview High School. There, she ran track in several state championship events and developed a lifelong love of skiing and the outdoors.
In 1989, Deidre entered Texas Tech University, graduating in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies. She immediately began a career in human services with MHMR and later worked with CASA and CPS. At the time of her death, she was employed by Wellpoint.
Deidre married Dusty McCoy on June 1, 1996. From their thirty-year union came two children, Blue McCoy and Lottie McCoy, who were the lights of her life. Deidre skillfully balanced a demanding career with homemaking, loving her family fiercely and caring deeply about the well-being of the clients and colleagues in her professional orbit. Her presence lit up a room, and her laughter was infectious.
She is survived by her husband, Dusty McCoy; her children, Lottie and Blue McCoy; her parents, Jack and Mary Dee Price; her sister and brother-in-law, Jill Price Donegan and Jason Donegan; her in-laws, Ron and Marcelle McCoy; her sister-in-law, Melissa McCoy, all of Abilene, Texas; and Col. Mike McCoy and his wife, Summer, of Overland Park, Kansas.
Deidre will be deeply missed by her many friends and family. She was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in San Angelo, Texas, where services will be held on Saturday, May 2nd at 11:00 am.
