Dolores Ann Muzzana

Dolores Ann Muzzana was born on July 1, 1946, in San Angelo’s Saint John’s Hospital. She passed peacefully on March 21, 2024, at age seventy-seven. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Louis & Ada Barrera, parents Austin Lee Robles, Sr & Mary Lou Robles, her sisters Betsy & Alice, and niece Joanna. Ann is survived by her sons David Anthony Muzzana & wife Jeri, Bryan Keith Muzzana & wife Jennifer, their children, Hayley & Gavin, her brothers Austin Lee, Jr. Nolan, & Ricky Robles as well as her cousins Michael & Johnny Barrera their wives Kyra and Debbi and Johnny’s daughter Danielle.

She will be missed by nieces Lisa and Rachel Lisewsky, Theresa Mueting & husband Matthew. Michelle Davis & husband Michael, Deborah Quintanilla & husband David, Kari Giles & husband Nathan; nephews Greg Lisewsky & wife Tracy, Kevin, Gus & Eric Robles, as well as her aunt, Nina Robles. Her grandnephews John & Dylan Thomas, Parker Mueting and Josh & Jake Giles will cherish her memory. Special friends, Judy Lisewsky, Cynthia Fischer, Teresa Jeter, Bill & Diane Eudy, Harley & Beverly Murrell, Eddie Lee, and Tom Seymore join the family in their loss.

Growing up in San Angelo and Warton, Texas, Ann treasured time with her family; enjoyed working in her parents’ grocery business and tending her grandparents’ garden. She trained as a flight attendant before focusing on the rearing of her sons. During her life, Ann loved and helped many people with her beautiful smile and kind heart. Her lovely handwriting on the cards of encouragement was admired by all. She was a devout Christian often quoting scripture to comfort and guide those in need. Her greatest joys were her sons and grandchildren, to whom she remained faithfully devoted throughout her lifetime. The family wishes to thank Dr. Raj Cheruku & staff, Oak Grove Retirement Home, Hospice of San Angelo, and Harper Funeral Home for their professional services.

A memorial service was held on April 27, 2024, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in San Angelo.
