Don Ray Noyes

Don Ray Noyes, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away peacefully in August 2026 at the age of 79.

Don was born on September 21, 1946, in Imperial, Nebraska to Oceo Noyes and Thelma June Warren Noyes. He was raised in Farmington, New Mexico, where he graduated from High School in 1964. He continued his education by attending college for another year before answering the call to serve his country.

Don honorably served in the United States Air Force, including service during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he built a successful career as an office manager for numerous automobile dealerships, earning the respect of coworkers through his dedication, integrity, and strong work ethic.

On July 18, 1966, Don married the love of his life, Freda Irene Rasco. They shared many years of love and companionship until her passing in 2019.

Don was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Freda Irene Noyes; his parents, Oceo Noyes and Thelma June Warren Noyes.

He is survived by his son, Dwayne Noyes of San Angelo, Texas; his daughter, Susan Serratt of San Angelo, Texas; his cherished granddaughter, Caitlin Serratt of San Angelo, Texas; and his brother, Bob Noyes.

Don will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his kind and loving heart, and his willingness to help others. He loved bowling and dancing and found great joy in spending time with his family. One of his greatest pleasures was sharing advice, stories, and words of encouragement with his children and granddaughter, whom he loved dearly. His wisdom, laughter, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Don will be available for viewing from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5, and 8:00 A.M., to 7:00 P.M. Thursday Aug. 6, 2026, at Harper Funeral Home in San Angelo.

A funeral service celebrating Don’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Harper Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Belvedere Memorial Park Cemetery.

Don’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered prayers, support, and kindness during this difficult time. His legacy of love, service, laughter, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
