Doris Ingram Green

Doris Ann Ingram Green formerly of Cisco, Texas, passed away on November 30, 2018, at the age of 86 years old. Doris was born July 8, 1932, in Scranton, TX to Burette and Hattie (Bachus) Ingram. She attended school at Scranton and had a love of basketball and family. Doris was married to Alfred Green and was his active partner in their family businesses. She worked many happy years as a legal secretary. Doris had an awesome work ethic, organization skills and had a love for learning new things. Doris is survived by her children Kay Green, Joann (John) Walter, and Mike Green. Also her grandchildren Paul (Susan) Green, Laci Jo (Bryan) Stone, great-grandchildren Kendi and Cassidy Green, and sister Kitty (Clyde) Douglas. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins who she had special relationships with. There will be a visitation at Harper Funeral Home Sunday, December 2nd from 4:00-5:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at the Nimrod Cemetery Monday, December 3rd at 11:00 am. Visitation with family and friends will be at the Myrtle Wilks Community Center in Cisco from 12:00-2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Nimrod-Monroe Cemetery Assn, 188 FM 3265, Cisco, TX 76437 or a favorite charity.
