Earl Richard Hayes

Earl Richard Hayes, 79, of Lohn, Texas passed away on April 4, 2024, at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas.

He was born in San Antonio, TX to Earl W. and Frankie Walker Hayes on June 21, 1944. Earl married his sweetheart, Bonnie Lou Bergman, on June 7, 1963.

Earl retired from Capital Excavation as a Project Superintendent in 2012 and moved to Lohn, TX where he became a full-time rancher.

Earl was an active member of Melvin Evangelical Free Church where he and Bonnie enjoyed fellowship with many friends.

Earl is preceded in death by his parents Earl W. and Frankie Walker Hayes of San Antonio, TX, and his wife Bonnie Hayes of Lohn, TX.

Earl is survived by his son Shane Hayes and wife Jennifer of Spofford, TX, granddaughter Ireland Hayes of Spofford, TX, granddaughter Cassidy Franke and husband Dustin of New Braunfels, TX, and grandson Tyler Lieck of Blanco, TX.Visitation is from 4-6pm on April 10, 2024, at Eden Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 1pm on April 11, 2024, at Round Mountain Cemetery in Round Mountain, TX
