Emilio Ramirez

Emilio, beloved father, daddy, wuelo, and tio to many, went to meet Jesus and the love of his life Rosa Ramirez in the early morning of Saturday, March 16, 2019. He went peacefully, at Reagan County Care Center, his home away from home. Emilio was born in Ballinger, Texas to Basilio and Santos Ramirez on November 19, 1928. He was not raised in the United States, but in Lo Batos Zacatecas, Mexico, which he always considered his hometown. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters; Josepha (Pepa), Santos, his brothers; Pedro, Domingo, and his wife of 52 years Rosa. He leaves behind his children who will continue to miss him, Juan and wife Pearl Ramirez, Clemetina Ramirez, Carmen and husband Arkie Goodloe, a grandson who he raised as a son Fabian and his wife Jennifer Ramirez, and a nephew who he saw as a son Jose Luis and wife Maria Ramirez, all who reside in Big Lake. He also has a special sister-in-law Lupina De La Rosa, who was always there to share a cup of coffee and breakfast with. Emilio also leaves his 9 grandchildren who adored him, Senia Ramirez of Midland, Jeremy and Wendy Ramirez of Odessa, Adam and Britney Ramirez of Midland, Bailen and Tommy Gomez of San Angelo, Troy and Callie Goodloe of Big Lake, Mylin Goodloe of Big Lake, and Claudia, Adrian, and Hannah Cervantes all of Big Lake. He has many great-grandchildren; Zachary, Alexandria, Madeline, Taylor, Talon, Adelin, Britten, Kamille, Monica, Davonn, Kynlee, Oaklen, Drayden, and Dextin. He also has one great-great grandson, Isaiah. Emilio has many other nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss him dearly. He also has his church family, from Roca Eterna, of which he was a member for over 30 years. Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
