Jackie Hodges Thompson

With sincere love we announce the passing of Jackie Hodges Thompson of San Angelo, Texas on September 26, 2026. Jackie was born March 13 ,1946, in San Angelo, Texas to Thad E Hodges and Zelma Hodges. 

She married Kenneth Thompson on August 1st, 1994, who was holding her as she walked into the halls of heaven. Jackie loved singing old time gospel and country music. She could solve any crossword puzzle put before her. She enjoyed reading and collected many books. She loved cruising her childhood neighborhood on Culberson Street, reliving memories with each house she went by. 

She was baptized at Harris Avenue Baptist Church and a member of First United Methodist Church in San Angelo. She belonged to The Shakespeare Clubs of Ottumwa, Iowa and Fort Worth. She was a member of the American Association of University Women in Ft. Worth.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Leo Wyatt, Sisters, Charline Dunavin, Intha Stephens, and twins Billie Joy Wyatt and Sam Wyatt. She is survived by her husband, Stepdaughters, Theresa Osenbaugh (Raymond) and Jennifer Adkisson (Steve) and grandkids, Adelaide and Elliott Osenbaugh. 

Special friends include Barbara Wyatt, Mary Eads and Janette Chambers of Ft. Worth. Close friends in San Angelo, include Barbara/Milton Hudgens, Tim/Barbara Moorman, Ray/Sheryle Burney, and Janie Biggs Thomas. Sandy Long Jenkins, a childhood friend, passed before Jackie. She loved you all!
