Jacob Andrew Bailey

Jacob Andrew Bailey, a beloved son, brother, partner, and friend, departed from this world on April 15, 2024, in Abilene, TX, at the age of 28. He was born on November 14, 1994, in San Angelo, TX, to his loving parents Darren Bailey and Sherri Schneider Bailey.


Jacob spent his formative years in San Angelo, attending Water Valley High School where he graduated in 2008, and then pursued a career as a welder.


He is survived by his father, Darren Bailey and Jane, his mother, Sherri Schneider Bailey and Michael. Jacob leaves behind his cherished brother, Davin Lee Bailey and wife Samantha Resendez. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Randy and Stacy Schneider, Vicki Schneider, Wayne and Janet Jordan, Tammy and James Vretis, Davin and Sophia Barefoot, his cousins, Matthew, Michael and Rachel Schneider, Tayler Jordan, Hannah Landers, Kenzie Parmer, Stephanie Madigan, and Cindy Barefoot. Grandparents, Wayne and Jackie Schneider, Lee Bailey, and Glenda Bailey, great grandparents, Jack Turner. In addition to his family, Jacob is survived by his devoted girlfriend, Lora Taylor, and daughter, Natalie, of Abilene, TX.


He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Sue Schneider, Jo Ann Bailey, great-grandparents, Wanda Turner, T.A. and Gladys Bailey, Novella and Jack Long and Lucille Wilson.


Jacob was loved by all who knew him and the sweet smile he always wore was contiguous and will be missed. He was a quiet person around a large group, even family. HIs love for his family was furious. He had many talents and could do anything he put his mind to. He learned the love of books from his granny and loved to read when the time allowed. He also love the late Billy Joe Shaver. Jacob and his granny would take trips to concerts around Texas from the young age of 12. He loved his pets Lillie, Chuppie and Olive. His hobbies was fishing, kayaking and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family
