James Lee Jackson

James Lee Jackson, 47, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 10, 2022, in San Angelo. James was born November 8, 1974, in San Angelo, Texas to Jerry and Audrey Brazeal Jackson. He grew up in San Angelo and attended Lakeview High School. After high school, he started working as a mechanic and started his lifelong career. James also drove trucks in the transportation industry as part of his lifelong career. He was a loving son, father and grandfather who loved his family and friends. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and hanging out with his friends. His passion, however, was fixing things and working on all kinds of engines and mechanical devices. He loved getting familiar with how something needed to be fixed and spent many hours honing his skills. James was head strong and steadfast which made him perfect to work on anything and he carried these traits throughout his life. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him! James was preceded in death by his grandparents Hollis and Wanda Key of San Angelo and his mother Audrey Allen. He is survived by his father, Jerry Jackson, of San Angelo; his Stepfather, Buster Allen, of San Angelo; his children, Kourtney Jackson, of San Angelo, Kayla Jackson, of Oklahoma, Faith Jackson, of Oklahoma, Jaeden Jackson, of San Angelo, and Jacob Jackson, of San Angelo; 4 Grandchildren, Lucas Woods, Kyler Jackson, Dallas Skaggs and Liam Nere, all of San Angelo; 2 Brothers, Jody Jackson and his wife Carrie Culpepper, of San Antonio and his twin, Jason Jackson, of San Angelo; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and close friends. The Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Grape Creek Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Roger officiating.
