Jo Ann Molina

Jo Ann Molina, 58, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2021, in San Angelo. Jo Ann was born April 18, 1963, in San Angelo Texas to Ernesto and Patsy Molina. She grew up in San Angelo and graduated from Central High School. Jo Ann started her career with the San Angelo Standard Times soon after graduating from High School and continued working there for over 35 years until her death. She was a loving daughter, sister and friend who devoted her life to her family and close friends. Jo Ann loved playing softball and basketball in her younger years, and mostly loved fishing and hanging out with her close friends and family. She had a tremendous love for music, but her passion was her love of animals of all kinds, especially her two dogs, “Jake” and “Sampson.” Jo Ann was a very private person by nature, however her loyalty to her friends and family was her endearing quality and known by everyone. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her father, Ernesto and her niece Amber Michelle Molina. She is survived by her mother, Patsy Molina, of San Angelo; her brothers, Ernie Molina and Ronnie Molina, of San Angelo; her nieces and nephews, Ernest “Neto” Molina III, Tanya Flores, Patricia Flores and Ronnie Michael Torres; and numerous other family members and close friends. The Graveside Service will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 20, 2021, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, with Deacon Abel Fernandez officiating.
