John Harman Talley

John Harman Talley (74) from San Angelo ,TX found peace and made his way to the gates of Heaven on June 7, 2023.

John was born on November 5, 1948 here in San Angelo, TX, to John Kenneth and Lerah Talley. He married the love of his life Carilyn Talley on June 12, 1976. John graduated from ASU with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. He prided himself on being a great husband, father, and family man. John would go out of his way to help anyone and never met a stranger. John worked for 27 years at KIDY/TV and held part time jobs at HEB and the San Angelo Visitors Center in retirement. John loved his church, Holy Angels, and was a devout catholic, while also being a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

John is survived by his wife Carilyn Talley, their son Scott Talley, four wonderful grandchildren Joshua, Jenna, Jaedon and Jase. He was preceded in death by his parents John Kenneth and Lerah Talley, and his youngest son, Bryan Thomas Talley.

A Rosary will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Harper Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Holy Angels Catholic Church.
