Con profunda tristeza anunciamos el inesperado fallecimiento de José Luis Leyva, de 60 años, el día 9 de diciembre de 2025.
Fue un amado esposo, padre, tío, hijo, hermano, amigo, y un hombre de determinación, trabajador y entusiasta. Se casó con el amor de su vida, María, en 1995, y juntos criaron a una hermosa hija, Lupita, inculcándole sus valores de perseverancia y gran sentido del humor, amor y temor a Dios.
José nació el 10 de junio de 1963, en Cuauhtémoc, Durango, México. Era conocido por siempre estrechar en un fuerte abrazo, por animar a los demás y por su dedicación a sus pasatiempos, que incluían la pesca, el cuidado de su motocicleta y apoyar a su familia en todos y cada uno de sus eventos. Fue un padre amoroso, un tío atento para todos sus sobrinos y sobrinas, y un amigo confiable para muchos.
Como todos, no era perfecto pero era una humano autentico.
Le sobreviven su amada esposa María, su querida hija Lupita Leyva, y muchos otros familiares.
El servicio de velación sera en Harper Funeral Home, 2606 Southland Blvd, San Angelo, TX 76904, el domingo 14 de diciembre de 2025, de 2:00 PM a 4:00 PM.
El servicio funeriariose realizará en Centro Emanuel Church, 2100 S Hill St, San Angelo, TX 76903, el lunes 15 de diciembre de 2025, a las 10:00 AM.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Jose Luis Leyva, age 60, on December 9th, 2025.
He was a beloved husband, father, uncle, son, brother, and friend, and was a man of determination, hard work, and enthusiasm.
He married the love of his life, Maria, in 1995, and together they raised a beautiful girl, Lupita, instilling in her his core values of perseverance, a grand sense of humor, love, and fear of God.
Jose was born on June 10, 1963, in Cuauhtémoc, Durango, Mexico. He was known for always giving strong hugs, for cheering others up, and dedication to his hobbies, which included fishing, taking care of his motorcycle and cheering on his family at every & all events. He was a loving father, a doting uncle to many nieces & nephews, and a reliable friend to many.
Like all of us, he wasn’t perfect, but he lived in a way that was beautifully authentic.
He is survived by his cherished wife, Maria and his beloved daughter Lupita Leyva, and many more family members.
A visitation service will be held at Harper Funeral Home, 2606 Southland Blvd, San Angelo, TX 76904 on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
A funeral service will be held at Centro Emamuel Church, 2100 S Hill St, San Angelo, TX 76903 on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
