Juan Genaro Torres

Juan Genaro Torres Guajardo, 76, of San Angelo, TX, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 17, 2019. Juan Genaro Torres Guajardo was born in Obayos, Coahuila on September 19, 1943. From there he moved with his mother to Acuna, Coahuila where he grew up and attended school till he had the opportunity to move to the United States chasing the American dream and a better living. Juan worked in ranches, construction and oil rigs throughout most of his life. He married Maria Varela in 1963 and received his first son Juan Torres, Jr. followed by Armando, Eduardo, Armando Sr. and Willie Torres. His family was his pride and joy and he will be remembered as a loving father that till his last day he was still making sure his family was ok. He is survived by his wife Maria Torres, sons, Juan G Torres, Jr. and wife Maria Torres, Armando Torres, Sr. and wife Amparo Torres, and Willie Torres, his brothers, Joe Torres, Javier Torres, Rosa Torres, Julio Calderon, Ernesto Calderon, Israel Calderon, grandchildren, Beatrice Adriana Torres, Jasmin Aracely Torres, Armando Torres, Jr., Javier Torres, Miguel Angel Torres, Juan Genaro Torres, Maria de Jesus Torres, and Monica Torres, and great-grandchildren, Myra Alejandra Garcia, Jorge Cayentano Garcia, Marayah Alize Torres, Abraham Garcia, Sabrina Janae Torres, Geovanni Xavier Torres, Lizett Allessandra Torres, Jermiah Avant Torres, Lexi Ariana Torres, Genesis Nevaeh Torres, Serenity Marie Torres, Josiah Armanii Torres, Royalty Sarahi Torres, Leonardo King, Torres, Xitlali Sophia Torres, Adonnis Jay Torres. Open viewing will be held Sunday, April 21, from 12:00pm to 7:00pm at Harper Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 22, at Harper Funeral Home at 10:00am. Graveside will be held Monday, April 22, at Pioneer Memorial Park in Grape Creek.
