Judy “nana” Logan Griego, of Albuquerque, New Mexico went to be with the Lord on February 3rd, 2019. She passed peacefully in her sleep. She was born on November 3rd 1956 in Lubbock, Texas to Gordon Logan and Mary New. Judy was married to Bill Blackmon from January 1975 -February 1978. They had one daughter together in November 1975, Angela Dawn. In April of 2001 she married Matt Griego in Lubbock, Texas and soon after moved to Albuquerque where she lived until her death. She graduated from high school in 1975 and later went to South Plains Collage where she graduated in 1986. Judy worked for Vaughn CPA, LLC out of Albuquerque for 18 years where she was more than just a co-worker, but a beloved friend. Playing darts was a big part of her life. She began playing in the early ‘80s and made many friends throughout her time playing all over the world. Judy looked forward to Watching Nascar and was always cheering on number 48, Jimmy Johnson. In her free time, she also enjoyed crocheting with all sort of neat things. Judy was a devoted daughter, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and wife. Nana, as her Grand and Great Grandchildren called her, did not know a stranger. She could and many times would make friends with anyone she came across. Judy could always carry on great conversation and would bring a smile to everyone’s face. Judy Griego is Survived by: Great Grandchildren Elli Hathorn and Carter Gustafson Grandchildren Cadence Hathorn, and Husband Nathan, Abrianna Enloe, Gregory Heitzenrater, Eric Heitzenrater, and Khloe Heitzenrater. Daughter Angela Heitzenrater and Husband, Robert Husband Matt Griego Mother Faith Harrington and husband, Lew Sister Darla Lavone Logan Brothers Alan Logan, and wife, Janet, and Robert Logan and wife. Best Friend/Sister Margie McCormick and Husband Tim Pettiet She was proceeded in death by: Parents Gordon Logan and Mary New Mother-in-law Marie Tafoya And numerous Aunts, Uncles, And Cousins. The Family would like to thank Everyone who has prayed for and been with them during this hard time. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
