June Christine Jordan

June Jordan went to be with the Lord on October 18, 2026.

June Christine Jordan was born to Floyd and Vera Young in Brady, Texas on December 23,1937, the middle child of three girls. She attended Brady High School and there met the love of her life, Dale Jordan. They enjoyed forty-eight years of marriage and welcomed two children along the way. Dale and June moved west with the oil field and resided in Monahans, Texas until they relocated to San Angelo in 1980.

June was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Vera Young, her brother-in-law Doug Pate, and her husband Dale, who died in 2003. She leaves behind her son Ricky Jordan (Trisha) and daughter Gail Schweizer (Douglas), as well as three granddaughters: Christine Goetz (Grant), Traci King (Tanner) and Jordan Abshire (Chris) and four grandchildren: Toby and Jaxon Goetz, and Weston and Caroline King. She is also survived by her sisters Myrle Pate and Vivian Winnie and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Harper Funeral Home from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, October 22nd. Graveside service will be held at Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady, Texas on Friday, October 23rd at 10am.

The family suggests donations be made in June’s memory to West Texas Rehab or your favorite charity.
