San Angelo

Kathleen “Kathy” Davis, 90, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, while resting peacefully in her bed.

Kathy was born on November 30, 1935, in Akron, Ohio, to Clarence and Margaret (Vasbinder) White. She grew up in Akron and later attended Kent State University for a short time, where she met the man she would marry in 1959, Paul E. Davis.Kathy worked as a secretary before focusing on raising her family. She and Paul had two children, John and Paula, and were later blessed with two grandchildren, Joseph and Maya, who meant the world to her. Kathy and Paul shared 57 wonderful years of marriage before his passing. In 1979, the family moved to San Angelo, Texas, which became Kathy’s home for the next 46 years.

For the past 10 years, she lived at Rio Concho West, where she enjoyed visiting with others and sharing her kind and giving heart. Kathy had a way of making people feel welcome, and that will always be remembered.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, and her parents.

She is survived by her sister, Jeanette Cowell; her children, John and Paula; and her beloved grandchildren, Joseph and Maya. Kathy will be laid to rest at North Lawn Memorial Gardens in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Visitation will be held on January 2, 2026, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at Harper Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. also at Harper’s Funeral Home, with Pastor Julian of Word of Life Church officiating.
