Kathy Louise Hodges

Kathy Hodges, of San Angelo, passed away peacefully in her home on October 10, 2026, at the age of 75. Kathy was born on June 26, 1951, in San Angelo, Texas to Phillip L. Sheridan and Louise Tyler Sheridan and was a lifelong resident of San Angelo.

Kathy will be most remembered for her love and devotion to the care of animals. Whether it was caring for Miss Quacks and her ducklings as a child, one of her beloved quarter horses STP, or feeding the deer behind her home, she found joy in caring for animals. She truly met her soulmate in veterinarian, Gary Don Hodges, who matched her compassion and caring. After marrying, they worked together at his practice until the birth of their only child, Slade. She was a devoted and loving mother, wife, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Billy Phillip Sheridan, and her husband of 50 years, Gary. She is survived by her son, Slade Hodges, of Austin, Texas.
