Margarito Rodriguez

Margarito Rodriguez 82 passed away on March 11, 2020 surrounded by his family. Margarito Rodriguez was born on July 20, 1937 to Asencion and Marcelline Rodriguez in Seguin, Texas. Margarito grew up and began working in construction until he started to lose his eyesight. He did not give up and began working at Lighthouse for the Blind for another 28 years. Margarito loved his family, He married Mary Rodriguez and together they had 8 children. He loved his Cowboys and Rangers and never missed watching them play. Mr. Rodriguez is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, three brothers, and a son Margarito Rodriguez Jr. Margarito is survived by his Wife Mary Rodriguez; Children Victor Diaz and wife Rosalinda, Guadalupe Rodriguez, Raphael Rodriguez, John Rodriguez, Mary Lou Flores; Brother Frank Rodriguez, Sister Theodora Sturgis; along with many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. A rosary service will be held at Harper Funeral Home on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 16 at St. Joseph’s in Loraine, TX at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in Loraine Cemetery.
