Margaux Lynette Murphy

Margaux Lynette Murphy passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on February 23, 2022, at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas. She was born on August 27th,1949 in Santa Rita New Mexico to the late Ruby Kathleen "Kay" and Curtis Lee Edwards. She married the love of her life, Charles Murphy on December 17, 1977. Margaux was a homemaker, devoted football coach's wife and mom to two sons. After having children Margaux wanted to focus on being a mother and wife. She was a supporter and cheerleader for her husband and boys. She had the gift of gab and always enjoyed a good conversation. She took an interest in the lives of others and their families. She had a gift for remembering names and details, so it wasn't strange for her to genuinely ask, by name, about your mom's, brother's, friend's cousin's dog. Above everything else Margaux was a child of God and loved the Lord with her whole heart. She was a dedicated and fierce prayer warrior. You could count on Margaux to say an earnest prayer for you, no matter how big or small the need. Margaux will lovingly be remembered by her husband of 44 years Charles Murphy, her son and wife Kory and Kelly Murphy of Liberty Hill, TX; her son and wife Kasey and Mindy Murphy of San Angelo, TX; four granddaughters Klaire, Hallie, Katherine "Kate" and McKenna; two dogs Oreo and Jubilee; as well as other extended family members. Please join us in celebrating her life at 10am, Monday February 28, 2022, at San Angelo First Assembly of God Church in San Angelo, TX. Graveside procession to Fairmount Cemetery to follow services.
