Marina Georgia Garcia

Marina Georgia Garcia, 61, of San Angelo, TX passed away on September 9, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. Marina was born on January 27, 1964 in San Angelo, TX to Sophia Sarzoza and Vicente Aguirre who she is preceded in death by. She grew up in San Angelo and graduated from Lake View High School in 1983. She worked many years at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, TX and South Park Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Austin, TX. Marina will be remembered for her confident, charismatic, resilient, bold, strong-willed, courageous loving ways. Her charming wit, humor, and spirit will forever remain in our hearts. She loved her pugs Barkley, Taylor and Sebastian. Marina loved going to the coast and watching Expedition Big Foot and True Crime. Marina is survived by her loving husband Robert Garcia of 31 years, her sisters Patricia and husband Allan Becknell, Betsy and husband Juan Levya, brothers Luis Aguirre, Tom and wife Geri Aguirre, mother in law Elvira Garcia, sisters in law Corinne Ponce, Raquel Garcia, and Diane Garcia. She had numerous nephews and nieces she adored. A rosary vigil will be held Wednesday September 17th at 6pm at Harper Funeral Home and Funeral Service Thursday September 18th at 2pm at Harper Funeral Home, 2606 Southland Blvd, San Angelo, TX 76904. Burial to follow at Johnson’s Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, 4989 FM Highway 1223, San Angelo, TX 76905. Friends and family are invited to attend to celebrate Marina’s life.
