Mary Elaine Medina

Mary Elaine Medina, 45, of San Angelo, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 5, 2022, in Ballinger after a long and courageous battle against breast cancer. Mary was born February 11, 1977, in San Angelo, Texas to Magdaleno Medina and Sylvia Terrazas. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She was extremely hard working and Mary would do everything in her power to help the ones she loved and cared for. She was a strong and determined woman, full of grace and always the life of the party. In her spare time, she loved shopping with her daughters, decorating her home, doing arts and crafts, and scratching off her lottery tickets. Mary was fearless and always showed her love and faith in the Lord. Mary’s love for her family and her passion for helping others will remain in our hearts forever and she will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents Magdaleno and Sylvia. Mary is survived by her children, Ashley Garcia and her husband Christopher Garcia, of Dallas, Chelsey Flores and her wife Makali Lowrey, of Ballinger, Sierra Flores and her boyfriend Antonio Uriegas, of San Angelo, Nevaeh Medina, of Ballinger and Aryanne Medina, of Ballinger; 1 granddaughter, Alazay Janea Garcia, of Dallas; her sister, Alma Medina Flores and her husband Dennis Flores, Jr., of Sweetwater; her brothers, Magdaleno Medina, Jr., of Midland, Lee Ray Medina, of San Angelo, Macario Medina, of San Angelo, and Raymon Medina, of Sweetwater. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and her best friend, “Tia Nena” Magdalena Medina as well as other aunts, uncles, and cousins all very dear to her heart. The rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Harper Funeral Home chapel. The Funeral Service will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Harper Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Belvedere Memorial Park. Pallbearers for the service will be Christopher Garcia, Antonio Uriegas, Dennis Flores, Jr., Jesse Hunt, Lee Ray Medina and James Flores.
