Mary Sanders

Mary Frances Shanks Sanders, 79, of San Angelo, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2023.

Mary was born to G.W. and Lorraine Brown Shanks on October 9, 1943, in Roswell, NM.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Lee Sanders; son, Barry Lee Sanders; and brother, Howard Shanks.

She is survived by her children, Paula Fierro and husband Erbey and Mark Sanders and wife Mary; daughter-in-law, Brenda Sanders; and two sisters Cheryl Ringheimer and Karla Matchin; grandchildren, Travis Garcia, Kalah Perez, Justin Garcia, Sarah Echevarria, Adrian Fierro, and Nadia Fierro; great-grandchildren, Anais, Alexis, Maxon Lee, Nolan, Lorraine, Kennedy and Eileen; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 13, 2023, at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Pecos, TX.
