Mechele Nicole Crenshaw

Mechele “Lyrical-Boogie” Crenshaw, lover of God, expressive art, and life passed away the morning of August 2, 2021. Mechele was born on January 13, 1991, in Okinawa, Japan to Ronald and Andrala Crenshaw. Raised in Ohio, Mechele considered Toledo, home. During her stay in Toledo, she participated in dance, theater, and Upward Bound. Mechele attended St. Ursula Academy. After her junior year, she traveled to Germany and graduated from Ramstein High. She poured herself into her music and her writings hence the name Lyrical Chele. She was also affectionately known to her friends as Boogie. She worked in the food industry to provide for her final goal to write professionally and continue her music endeavors. She briefly lived in Killeen before moving to San Angelo to be with her family. She began working for Taco Bell, recently promoted to manager. Our beautiful Mechele has reached the Gates of Heaven. Celebrating with her are Jerry and Eulla Powell, Willie and Viola Bell, Coley and Mary Hudson, Margrett and Tenezar Crenshaw, Harold Graves, Queandro Quarles Sr (Chache), Priscilla Massingill Goodson, Joseph Powell, Lois Powell, Leonard Powell, Haward Massingill, Oscar Smith, Lashawndra Powell, and dear friend DaShaun Booth. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: Jerry Graves, Andrala Crenshaw, Ronald Crenshaw I (Jackie) SC, Ronald Erick Crenshaw II (Isabella) Germany, Althea Marie Davis-Crenshaw, LaTisha Dincher(Germany), Equator Kennedy(SC), Tramonica Garrett (SC), Jacquie Jones-Smith, Coley Hudson Jr, Darla Harris (OH), Jerrell Graves (OH), Becky Garrison (Chris), Denise Akinpelu, Bernadette Coffee, Fostina Gurley, Special friend Lexi Thompson (Germany) and a host of family and friends. The Celebration of Mechele’s life will be at 5:00 P.M., Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor John Pope officiating.
