Melvin D. Roberts

Melvin D. Roberts, 70, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019 surrounded by his family. Melvin “Sonny” Roberts was born in Lamesa, TX to Alvy and Dorothy S. Roberts on November 30, 1948. Sonny lived in Midland and worked for Atmos Gas Company for more than 20 years. He married the love of his life Wanda Sullivan. Melvin recently moved to San Angelo to live with his daughter Donna Krauskopf. Melvin loved playing guitar, singing, and riding his Harley Davidson. Melvin is preceded in death by his wife Wanda S. Roberts, daughter Sharon K. Roberts, and his parents. Mr. Roberts is survived by his daughter Donna M. Krauskopf husband Edward, son James Roberts and wife Renee; grandchildren Brittanie Watson, Zachary Watson and fiancé Lydia Arroyo, Charisma Roberts partner Nico Herrera, Cayla Hillyard Husband Brandon, Great-Grandchildren Caidyn Allen, Coltyn Watson, Ryker Herrera, Benjamin Watson, Kenzie Hillyard, Bailey Watson, Baron Watson. A funeral service will be held at Harper Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Monday, April 22, 2019.
