Nelda June Hudson

Nelda June Hudson, 77 years old, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on September 25, 2018. A graveside service will be held at Monahans Memorial Cemetery on October 26, 2018 at 1:00p.m. Emmett Corker of Northridge Baptist Church will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Harper Funeral Home of San Angelo and Harkey Funeral Home of Monahans. Nelda was born in Rochester, Pennsylvania on April 12, 1941. She graduated from Follansbee High School in Follansbee, West Virginia. She was married to Charles Ray Hudson on January 1, 1959. They were married for 38 years until Chuck's passing in 1997. Nelda worked as Cafeteria Manager at HeadStart in Monahans for 15 years. She was actively in Wickett Bluegrass Festival, Wickett 4-H and served on Wickett City Council for several years. Nelda is survived by daughter Pam Claborn and husband Brook of San Angelo, Texas; son Cary Hudson and wife April of Nolanville, Texas; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Nelda is preceded in death by husband Chuck Hudson, son Barry Hudson, son Lyle Hudson and brother Arthur Yoho. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made be given to the Wickett Blugrass Festival, c/o Wickett City Hall, P.O. Box 185, Wickett TX 79788.
