Patricia Ann Dedeker

Patricia Ann Dedeker, 83, of San Angelo, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020 at her home. She was born on January 31, 1937 in Vernon, Texas to JD and Hazel Winslett Matthews. She attended school and graduated from Plains High School. She went on to attend Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie. She married Gene Dedeker on January 15, 1960 in Big Lake. She and Gene raised their son, Scott, in San Angelo while she worked for GTE until 1975. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and working in her garden. Her outlook on life could be summed up by her favorite saying, “it is what it is”. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Judy Johnston. Patricia is survived by her husband Gene; son Scott and wife Vicki of Peyton, CO; and sister, Alma Howlett. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 5-7 PM. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Friday, February 7, 2020 at Fairmount Cemetery with Pastor David Smith officiating.
