Pedro C. Flores

Pedro C. Flores, 82, of Christoval went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 in San Angelo surrounded by his loving family. Pedro was born June 29, 1934 in Allende, Coahuila, Mexico. He married the love of his life Natividad Montelongo on March 7, 1969 and they shared 36 beautiful years together before she preceded him in death in 2005. Pedro was a certified nurse’s assistant at Golden Years Nursing Home in Christoval for over 30 years. He was always very proud of his profession and enjoyed caring for the residents at Golden Years. Pedro was also a loving husband, father and grandfather who devoted his life to his family and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He always had a smile on his face and had a great sense of humor. He loved joking with everyone and also watching Texas Rangers Baseball and the Cleveland Cavaliers play basketball. In his later years, he enjoyed learning how to text on his phone and navigate an iPad so he could keep up with the latest technology and with his family and friends. Pedro’s love and legacy will live on in our hearts forever and we will dearly miss him! He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel and his wife, Natividad. Pedro is survived by his daughters, Marisela Hofacker and her husband Carl, of San Angelo, and Norma Flores, of San Antonio; his Grandchildren, DeAna Bailey and her husband Joshua, of San Angelo, Lexi Hofacker and Ryan San Miguel, of San Angelo, Myleena Flores and Preston Arteaga, of San Antonio and Easton Flores, of San Angelo; his Great Granddaughters, Jazlyn and Dalaynie Bailey, both of San Angelo; and a host of family and friends. The Graveside Service will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Ivy Cemetery in Christoval, Texas with Rev. Joseph Suitors officiating.
