Perry L. Talavera, 58, of San Angelo went to be with his heavenly father on Monday, August 20, 2018 in San Angelo. Perry was born May 20, 1960 in San Angelo, Texas to Antonio and Margaret Carmona Talavera. He grew up in San Angelo and graduated from Central High School and attended Angelo State University. Perry decided to open his own construction business in 1982. He owned and operated Talavera Construction for over 40 years and was working up until 3 weeks ago when he was no longer able to work due to his illness. Aside from being an incredibly motivated, hardworking man all his life, Perry, loved and adored his family. He was a loving son, father, brother and friend to many people. He enjoyed having a good time with his family and friends. Perry loved to be social and meet new people and he loved traveling all over. In his spare time, he loved to play golf and watch football and that included being a staunch Dallas Cowboys Fan! Perry also loved laughter and joking around with his family and friends. His life and legacy of hard work and fun with family and friends will remain in our hearts forever and we will dearly miss him! Perry was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Talavera. He is survived by his fiancée, Soraida Rocha-Miller, of San Angelo; his son, Stephen Talavera, of New Braunfels; his daughter, Monique Talavera, of New Braunfels; his father, Antonio Talavera, of San Angelo; his brother, Mark Anthony Talavera, of Houston; his sister, Myra Talavera; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends who he cherished dearly.
