Ralph "Brent" Brenton Hogue

Ralph Brenton Hogue, "Brent"', 89, of San Angelo passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. He was a life long member of the Church of Christ.

A "Life Celebration" gathering will take place from 3:00-5:00pm on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the Rio Concho West "Clubhouse" in San Angelo. Friends and family are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Brent was born to Ralph and Ruby Hogue on June 10, 1937, inside a loving country home near Bellevue, Texas. He married Judy (Price) Hogue on October 17, 1959. Brent loved meeting new people, playing chess and games including cards and dominoes, and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He and his wife, Judy enjoyed international trips, driving across the USA, family reunions, and always felt very blessed with wonderful friends.

Brent worked as a salesman for Southwestern Bell and General Telephone, followed by several years as a top salesman in the building materials industry. He was honored with many awards due to his professional work ethic and persistent attitude.

Many loyal customers became life-long friends that he stayed in contact with throughout retirement.

Brent was preceded in death by his brother, Carl Hogue and his daughter, DeRinda Conder. He is survived by his wife, Judy Hogue, his sister, Karon Worley, and his brother Wayne Hogue; his children, Brad Hogue, and Angie Tanyi; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Brent's wishes were that any memorials be given to Missions at Southgate Church of Christ, 528 Country Club Rd., San Angelo, Tx 76904.
