Richard "Ricky" Rawls Baker

Richard Rawls Baker moved to heaven in the early morning hours of May 18, 2025. 

He entered this world on December 7, 1945. His older brother, Gary, was his best friend. Ricky was the champion and protector of his younger sister. Despite his handicap he played first base for his little league baseball team in Marfa, Texas. In high school he was active in FFA. That would explain the cow in his backyard! 

As an adult he owned a jewelry store, Bakers Jewelers, and earned a living repairing watches. 

He leaves behind his sister Diane, his niece Jessica Gibbs and her husband Scott, and his nephew Will Wiggins and his wife Karee.
