Richard Lynn Hamilton “Rick”, 73 years old of San Angelo went to be with his Lord on Sunday, May 18th. Rick was born in San Angelo on May 21, 1951, to James E. Hamilton (Jim) and Ina Valynn Anderson (Lindi).
Rick was the youngest of three. He grew up all over including places like Washington, D.C., California, Arizona, Texas and even Japan. Rick had a fondness for taking things apart and putting them back together which led him to becoming a skilled mechanic and eventually opening his own business, Ricks’ Automotive. He loved old cars, hot rods and drag racing.
Rick is survived by his son; Richard James Hamilton of San Angelo, TX, daughter-in-law; Casey Hamilton, grandson; Gavon Paul DeLaurien-Hamilton, Gladice Hamilton of Troup, TX, two nephews; James Ray Quicksaw, John Ervin Quicksaw of Little Rock, AR, his favorite cousin; Deanna Inman of Broomfield, CO and his two dogs; Sugar and Mattie Mae. Rick is preceded in death by his mother (Ina Valynn Hamilton) “Lindi” and father (James E. Hamilton) “Jim”, his son; Matthew Mark Hamilton, sister; Gayle Quicksaw, brother-in-law; James Quicksaw and uncle; W.B. (Dub) Anderson.
