Rita Fay Baker, beloved wife, momma, meme, daughter, sister, and friend to many, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. She was born to Frank & Lois White on December 20, 1958 in San Angelo, Texas.


At the young age of 16, Rita married the love of her life Earl Baker, spending forty-seven loving years together. She was very proud of their three daughters who acquired her strong, feisty personality. Rita’s heart overflowed with love for her grandchildren and experienced the most joy in their presence. She was always up for an adventure, loved to sew, and enjoyed weekends at the dirt track with family and friends.


Rita was preceded in death by her mother Lois White and grandson Aaron Baker. She is survived by her loving husband Earl Baker; daughters, Corina Huisenga and her husband Jimmy, Marsha Clary and her fiance Randy Houser, and Carnotta Jackson; grandchildren, Karrah Clary, Jerrod Huisenga, Kenly Jackson, Cambree Contreras, Garrett Jackson, Michael Toler and Kyler Dutton; her dad Frank White; siblings, Wendell White, Shirley Worbington, and David White; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.


Rita had incredible strength, resilience, and a heart of a warrior. She loved her friends and family fiercely and will be dearly missed.


Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 23rd, at Harper Funeral Home in San Angelo, Texas.
