Roberto Torres Niavez, 60, passed away peacefully June 17th surrounded by his children. He was born on March 8th, 1966, in San Angelo Texas. He lived a life marked by strength, kindness, and devotion to those he loved. He touched the lives of many through his generosity, sense of humor, and unwavering dedication to his family. Above all else, he was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He found joy in spending time with his family and creating memories that will be cherished forever. His wisdom, guidance, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.He leaves behind 6 children he shared with Paula Alfaro, daughter Amber and husband Robert Ayala and their 3 children Alyssa, Analisa and Xaiver. Amanda Niavez and two children, Ramiro and Diego. Katalina Niavez and Jacob Falcon, their 3 children Zaiden, Cameron, and Alana. sons Robert D Niavez, Joshua R Niavez, John Niavez and Gabriella Hernandez and children Eleni and Amya. Surviving siblings are sister Delia and husband Robert Montour, brothers Tomas and wife Monica Niavez, Ruben Niavez and wife Molly, Eloy Niavez, sister Elvia Moyers. and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his late partner Delia Medrano, father Ruben Niavez, mother Mary Pino Niavez, grandson Alexander Niavez,brother Anastacio and wife Daisy Niavez,brother
Steve and wife Sandy Niavez,sister Sylvia N Mata, and nephews Stanley Niavez and Noe Niavez
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in the love he shared, the lessons he taught us, and the countless memories we hold close. His legacy of love and strength will never be forgotten.
A viewing will be held at Harper Funeral home in Eden Texas on Wednesday June 24, 2026, from 5pm-7pm
Funeral will be held Thursday June25 2026 at Harper Funeral home in Eden Texas at 10 am followed by a burial at Live Oak Cemetery.
Family and friends are welcome to gather in celebration of his life.
