Robert Wayne "Bob" Moren

Robert Wayne “Bob” Moren, age 75, died August 28, 2022, in San Angelo, Texas. He was born in Paris, Illinois, the son of Albert and Celia Moren. The family moved to Abilene, Texas where he attended Abilene High. He Joined the U.S. Navy where he served in the Vietnam War. He later moved to Arkansas where he met and married Joanne Treece. He was an accountant, salesman, and owned a successful trophy shop. He was a Mason, Member of the American Legion and VFW. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, coaching his children’s baseball and softball teams, and drinking coffee with friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Bonnie Hall. He is survived by his wife, Joanne Moren; his son, Ronald Moren (Natalie); his daughter, Bobbye Jo (Travis) Kelley; Six granddaughters, Erika, Victoria, Andrea (Andi), Meagan, Kaci, and Allyson; his niece, Susan Childress; and several cousins. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, Texas along with military honors. Arrangements are made by Harper Funeral Home in San Angelo. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of San Angelo.
