Roby Laxton Smith

Roby Laxton Smith 89 of San Angelo passed away March 20, 2022, surrounded by her family. Roby was born in Rowena on May 7, 1932. Roby loved her family and was always a constant rock for all to come to. She loved the family get togethers, whether it be family or friends and truly loved everyone that came. Roby also loved playing games, 42, joker and any kind of train. Above all else, she was a kind, caring person and cared about the family and friends that came into her life. Roby was preceded in death by her husband W. H. “Bud” Smith and parents Leonard and Annie Laxton. Roby is survived by her daughter Lisa Doty, sister Gwen (Coy) Moses, two grandchildren Cory & Brandy Doty, two step-children Lynn Farr and Bryan Smith, five great grandchildren Jacqlyn, Madison & Dakota Doty, Christian and Caitlyn McAlister. Graveside service will be at 2 PM at Lawnhaven, Thursday, March 24,2022.
