Roy Lee Lane

Roy Lane, 66, went to be with his Lord and Savior, on March 2, 2022. Roy worked 19 years for Wagner & Brown at the Sterling City plant, following contract welder and maintenance supervisor retiring March 1, 2021. Roy was born in Pecos, TX September 30, 1955, to Jack Lane and Mary Lou Lane Wright. Roy married the love of his life Ramona Conway on December 23, 1975, in San Angelo, Tx. He graduated Water Valley High School and farrier class @ Sul Ross University. He was preceded in death by parents Jack and Mary Lou, stepfather Marvin Wright, sister Sandy Irish, and grandparents. Roy is survived by his wife, Ramona, son, Keith Lane (Terri), and daughter, Jessica Hogan (Slade); granddaughters Alexis Lane, Lola Hogan and sister-in-law Jodie Wolslager all of San Angelo, brother David Lane (Libby) of Wall, brother-in-law John Irish of Aylette, Va. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Roy was a wonderful husband, dad, papa, and friend. A private family visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022, from 5:00PM-6:00PM with a public visitation following from 6:00PM-7:00PM at Harper Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 10:00AM at Harper Funeral Home with burial following at Fairmount Cemetery.
