Ruth Ann Orr Dotson

Ruth Ann Orr Dotson passed away on March 24, 2022. Ruth Ann worked at Nationwide Insurance as a coder earlier in her career. In later years she worked in the Tom Green County library and then Angelo State University library. Ruth Ann was born at home in Plain City, Ohio on May 24, 1940, to Margaret Elizabeth Wilson and Edgar Noah Orr. Ruth Ann married James Edward Dotson on December 20, 1961. She was a graduate of Jonathan Alder High School in Plain City Ohio in 1958 and Columbus Business College. She is preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Edgar Orr and her brother James Orr. Ruth Ann is survived by her husband of 60 years James Edward Dotson, daughter Angela Eldred and husband Charley Eldred and granddaughter Miranda Moeller of Austin, Texas, son Michael J. and daughter in law Ernestina Dotson, and granddaughter Desiree Dotson. A Graveside service will be held 10:00am, Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Fairmount Cemetery.
