Sharon Westbrook Vickery

Sharon Westbrook Vickery, 84, of San Angelo passed away on February 11, 2022 surrounded by her family. Sharon was born February 28, 1937, in Crockett, Texas to Oliver and Georgianna Westbrook. She grew up in Odessa, Texas and attended Odessa Junior College. Sharon was a wonderful and devoted mother and friend to many. She loved dancing, animals, traveling, playing games, and most of all family gatherings. Her proudest moments were times spent with her grandchildren. Sharon was married to Leo McFarlin for 28 years, being blessed with 3 children. After Leo’s passing in 1984, Sharon married Bill Vickery, on January 19, 1991. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Leo, second husband Bill, and brother George Westbrook. She is survived by her brother Oliver Belmont Westbrook, Jr of Oklahoma, her children Cindy and husband, Jon Achilles of Gilbert, Arizona, Dana Hamilton of San Angelo, Texas, Curt McFarlin and partner Michael McHale of Lyons, Colorado, Dawn Vickery of Ingleside, Texas, Gayle and husband, Terry Holcomb of Wall, and Jill and husband, Albert Flores of Ingelside, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Flowers can be sent to Harper Funeral Home in San Angelo, Tx. Donations in Sharon’s name can be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church on February 16, 2022.
